Empowering “Crack Is Wack” Mural
Art activities incorporated in the process of creating a Keith Haring inspired mural that went up the walls, on the windows and over the doors. This mural expanded upon the dangers of drugs and abuse.
Neighborhood Mini-Mural
I am a fan of Haring Kids website and enjoy sharing it with people I know and children that I share my love of art with. This week, I taught some of my neighborhood kids (ages 4-11) about Keith Haring and his art. Each child created their own Haring inspired art work to take home with them.
Big Draw Day
As part of The Big Draw, a day of artist-lead drawing projects at Ivydale School in South London, illustrator Garry Parsons lead the Year 5 group in transforming the school reception area into Keith's POP SHOP, complete with house music and Haringesque badges to give away.

Graffiti – Tribute to Promote Reading
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Keith Haring’s death, the Art department of Lauro Ikastola School in the Basque Country in Spain, recently organized a graffiti competition to promote reading. Students worked on the winning idea for three days
Street Art and Hopscotch
The project was split into several lessons. At the beginning the pupils got some information about Keith Haring We created some colorful Keith Haring paintings on the break court in front of our school. There are now two big paintings, where the children can do hop-games. The other paintings show typical school subjects like art.
Keith Haring and Graffiti
Students from this Montessori school in Canada studied Keith Haring and then worked collaboratively to make several murals, custom t-shirts, and sculptures, all exploring the theme of "Peace, love and the environment."
Bus Stop Mosaic
This 8th grade class from Germany was invited to creat a doublesided mosaic for a local community bus stop.
Haring Mosaic
These 8th graders from a town in Germany were invited to create a public mosaic for their local town hall in Bullay. Inspired by Keith Haring, the students chose bold, colorful figures to depict their message.
Haring Inspired Wall Murals
Parent and student volunteers went to Greenfield Elementary School on the Martin Luther King Jr holiday to work together and paint Haring-inspired murals on the walls of the fourteen stairwell landings.
A Haring Holiday
Create Haring-inspired holiday ornaments with children using this fun and easy project sent in to us by a high school in Kansas.
A Mural Gift
5th grade students participated in a mural making activity based on the art of Keith Haring. The mural was presented to Rosemont Elementary School as a "thank you" gift for everyone at the school who as helped the 5th grade students.
